Will there be another post or build number when the 'non-beta' version is released ?

Mitch, if the past is a guide, No. The beta build turns quietly into the production release after a time. As they say, it's called 'beta' only because it is new, but I have always just installed them without any concern. The program keeps a backup of the older versions, in case you did want to roll back (I've never had to, at least in the last decade).

Any chance of giving us a Real drums file of 'Gene Krupa' style drum solos? I'd love to create a BIAB replica of Sing Sing Sing or Hey Patchuco (from The Mask)and need several 8 bar drum solos with tom toms.

Boz/Sax, your post belongs in the other forum, Styles Wishlist. It will get the attention of PG Music there.

Good question, Steve. To my knowledge, this was not addressed.

For RealTracks updates, there is always a separate patch for the audiophile version, often supplied a day or two later. This BIAB update says it "updates some RealTracks" but did not specify if audiophile users need a separate version. As there was no separate patch, I concluded the answer must be No, and installed it on my audiophile system back in mid-December.

EDIT: I just searched the forum and found no answer, so I have written to PG Music about this.

OK, PG Music has confirmed that installing Build #349 for BIAB should be fine for audiophile users. Also make sure you have the update for RealTrack #146 that was released shortly after.

Note: posts above this one refer to Build #349 or 349b.

The newest build is beta #350.

My favorite soundfont player SFZ+ is now working. Thanks for this update, PGMusic! The general midi soundfont I use is SGM-V2.01.sf2 and it covers all midi parts nicely. Before this update, SFZ+ was crashing BIAB almost every time.
