A little help, please. I've searched, and I'm sure there's a way, but I've not found it addressed here or in the manual, or I've overlooked it.
I'd like to add a separate Real Drum track. Say I have Real Drum ShakerEven8ths in the drum track, and in specific bars I want a tambourine to come in.

If you are looking to do it in BIAB, you can't. In RealBand, however, you can select a blank track, and right click to add another RealDrum track. You could then edit the track so it only plays where you want it.
Or, highlight the bar(s) where you want the RD to generate and do it bar-by-bar.
The two menu items are "Select And Generate RealDrums..." or "Select RealDrums (Favorites)".

Thank you, Matt. I'd located a tambourine wav outside of BIAB, downloaded, plays fine in iTunes, DAWs, but I can't get it imported and play in BIAB for some reason. I've named it a variety of names; matched the sgu file name with .wav...tried to add as audio, solo...
I've imported other wavs from outside BIAB into the audio track, so it's odd for me. Probably something simple. I'm just too new to bother you guys. I'll wade thru it.
I watched the loop video, and it's still a little beyond me. I'll just throw it all in RB or another DAW and make it work.

Floyd, RIGHT ON! Those loops weren't what I was looking for, BUT I was able to save and successfully load a downloaded wav from freesound.org that is exactly what I was looking for. I'd had the wav file before but couldn't figure a way to load it into a track.
Da' man!

To expand on Real Band a bit. RB has 48 tracks and each track is completely separate from the other tracks as you would expect in a DAW. You can generate 15 completely different drum tracks both midi or audio, loops, whatever.
You can also change the chord grid for each generation too. Real Drums respond to part markers to trigger fills or a change in substyle. By changing the placement of the park markers for each new version of a drum track you're creating gazillions of different drum fills that you can then go back and cut/paste/edit to make one killer track for a final mix. If you change the markers from blue to green you're also triggering a change in the feel as well as the fills.

Bob when I'm in RB I don't see PART MARKERS. What screen are they in? I know how to use them in BIAB.

I'd always wondered about the marker colors. I thought I heard a difference, but wrote it off as a poor sound system. I need to look deeper into. I knew it triggered drum turnarounds (or whatever you call that from the verse into a chorus).

Choose "Select a Loop for this track". Type tambourine in the search box...
Give it a try.
Do you do this in RB?
I do this in BIAB. I only open RB to generate harmonies from a vocal track - and only do that on rare occasion now - so I don't know the ins-and-outs of RB... If you can select Loops in RB (as you can in BIAB), it ought to work...
Multiriff in Realband is also really worth learning.
What it does is to generate up to seven versions of a track file. Because of the way Multiriff is programmed, each generation is different on a bar-by-bar comparison basis. What I mean by this is that bar 1 in each generation is different, bar 2 in each generation is different, etc.
This makes Miltiriff ideal if (say) you want to generate two instances of a rhythm Realtrack so that one instance can be panned hard left and the other panned hard right.
Before Multiriff, every once in a while, generations would have the same audio snippet in parallel bars. The effect of this was that the song sounded mono for those bars because exactly the same sound was doubled. Now, when Multiriff is used, that no longer happens.
