I purchased Jbridge with BIAB a couple of years ago but noticed recently that there is an update available (v1.74) from the Jstuff website here. I thought others might like to know about this update also, hence this post. FYI the updates are: – Compatibility tweaks for Windows 8/10 – Fixed “wait for auxhost initialization” error in Cubase 8 and Windows 8/10 when the “run in existing auxhost” option is enabled for some plugins. – Other minor fixes. Careful. Does it work with BIAB?
At the time we purchased JBridge, it wasn't the newest release, either. It was a special version, I think.

Yes v1.74 works fine with BIAB. I am using it with Sampletank 3 with no issues. Incidentally, it wasn't a special version for BIAB. If you look at the BIAB page selling Jbridge here --> http://www.pgmusic.com/jbridge.htm it actually says Free demo of jBridge available: If you want to try jBridge by a free demo, you can visit this page http://jstuff.wordpress.com/jBridge/ and download the demo called jBridge 1.7b3 demo (or any newer future demo that has a # higher than 1.7 So any version higher than 1.7 will work fine (the one I got when I bought it was 1.7b3). Ok. I was talking about the paid version. But I don't use soft synths so others will know better.

The latest versions of jbridge works fine with BIAB and RealBand. They have released several updates since BIAB first supported jbridge. Be sure to get it from the updates page (but entering your email address you used when you registered).

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
