I remember hearing that the British flyers also complained about their American counterparts as being, "Overpaid, oversexed and over here."

They seldom have fish 'n chips in newspapers now. Instead they use those horrible food containers. I'm afraid the chips ( French fries ) we get locally are pretty poor. I prefer making my own nowadays.

If you ver get to Chesaeake Bay, Virginia, Sam, not to worry, I'll see that you get some of the best home cooked fried fish and chips ever!

Might even make ya join us on the boat to catch 'em first, too...

And iof you want 'em served in a newspaper, I'll see to it.

You can have 'em with the chips, which we'll make from fresh Idaho potatos, I think I'll take mine with some southern fried Hush Puppies. Okay, I'll have some chips with it too...

I can vouch from a visit to Chesapeake Bay in VA many years ago, that the hush puppies there are better than anywhere I've had them across the country.

Fishing, Mac? Sure. I'll come fishing! Love it! Is that fly-fishing or just grub?

Or is it just sitting on the dock of bay?

As to highjacking...

Lately I like to fish without any bait on the hook, Sam.

That way the damn fish won't wake me up...

There's a country song lyric lurking in here:

"Lately I've taken to fishin' without any bait cuz I been wishin'
for a little shuteye each and every afternoon.

"Don't want little bells a-ringin', disturbing me from my sleepin'
from 'bout 5 PM till I can see by light of the moon."

Or sumpthin like that.

Y'all do use a little bell on the tip of the pole to tell y'all when ya got one on, doncha?

I fly-fish - trout and salmon. No coarse bait-fishing here and no sea fishing either. You have to constantly out think the fish (its like chess) and keep that fly moving...

Sam, I am a fly-fisherman also. Used to practice the art of fly-tying, too, sometimes right there at the trout stream in an effort to duplicate that which they were feeding on of a morning. Lots of fun and tailor made for the engineering mind.

But I also love bait fishing, lure fishing (BASS!), deep-sea fishing, and a special favorite, pan fishing for crappie or bluegill on a summer morning, using lightweight tackle or a cane pole.

Its FISHING. To me, that means that its ALL GOOD. <g>

I thought fishing was just an excuse to get out on the lake and drink beer. That's why they always "got away".

That's best done at night, catfishing along the banks of some these great American rivers.

Bring beer and also the very loudest boombox you can...

Judging from the types we encountered wandering around up in Colo last time I was there, you might hear little tinklebells anyway, my friend...

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option

Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!

Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!

For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.

Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.

Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!

Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
