This is a track from my debut album, created entirely with BIAB. I did a little bit of post in Adobe Audition.
It's an old one, so I'm not sure of all the details, but I'll update this post when I get them.
It's about being confident after a broken heart. Seeing the positives and not taking love to serious.
It has influence from country, blues, hip hop pop and folk.

Enjoy!

Interesting number.
Tell us more about the styles and tracks that were used.
Incidentally, are there some sound artifacts right at the start?

An interesting composition and combination of sounds Adraël. Where did the Robert Johnson-type guitar sounds and chords come from? I liked that intro a lot. I assume the 'putting the vinyl record on' sounds at the beginning were added to match the atmosphere of the 'Robert Johnson' intro?

Adraël,
Nice song. A good cadence to the write. Good vocal. Like John and Trev, I'd like to know where the "Robert Johnson-type guitar sounds" are from? - they are well done... the bass has a nice "sharpness" to it and sounds custom made for the song - did you play that?
Enjoyed the listen.

Adrael, I appreciate the work you did on this, especially the intro. The chorus is catchy, and I know I'll have it stuck in my head for a while. Take care, Torrey.

This was recorded many years ago, and I've misplaced the master BIAB files, so can't tell you what I used yet, but as soon as I find it all I'll update.
I have indeed added the vinyl sounds to effect.

The entire song was created with BIAB. All Instruments are BIAB. I wish I could play like the great session players they use

Very nicely done Adreal!! Cool vibe to this. Hook is really good, and you have a great vocal tone. I would consider filling out the arrangement a bit more in the chorus (horns?). Really like this!! Take care. Greg

Adrael,
A very enjoyable song. Your vocals are strong and the slide guitar a perfect fit. The chorus has such a nice melodic hook...I agree with Greg that something could be worked in there to emphasise that. Looking forward to more.

Adreal,
Thoroughly enjoyed that I am now going to spend sometime rooting through the RTs to find that "Robert Johnson" vibe.
If that is an example of your work then I look forward to listening to more
Take care
Alyn

Nice production! Isn't that the resonator delta blues RT?
Enjoyed it.

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option
Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!
Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!
For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.
Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.
Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!
Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.
Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
