If you are thinking about getting one of these Kontakt programs this is an inexpensive way to evaluate them. Also you can add patches to these programs. You can get each free, at least I know you can get the Kontakt player free, but this purchase gives you a lot more sounds than the free ones. I am always confused by this product line.

And are the other "players" the same? Yes, it is very confusing. You can get these programs for free BUT the free ones do not have as many sounds/patches as this paid version. Thus the only difference between the free and paid packages is amount on content (sounds/patches) you get, i.e. you are paying for the extra sounds. AFAIK all three will accept both Kontakt and third party sounds IF said sounds say it will work with them. I do know there are a number of sounds that are available for the Kontakt Player. The only difference between the players and the full blown programs is the later allows you to get into the nuts and bolts of the patches and modify them and/or add effects. The player is just a player with a few variables available for change like volume and pan.

Just wondering if this is a downloadable version instead of shipping, as to UK its a different price, and will only show in $ if using a VPN.
If downloadable and I get a link with a serial in email, then it might be possible to buy this way, as shipping wouldn't suit me at the higher prices.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first?
