1) The rather thin fonts in BIAB's drop-down sub-menus, are they adjustable some how, make them slightly thicker? Windows cleartype settings doesn't seem to have any influence here, see picture below.
2) Do one need to install style demos manually like from this page, xtra style 3 demos, or are there automatically installed somewhere with the installer. Maybe playback via an internet connection, as they seem to work directly from within the style picker? They're also found in some Demo Folder as SGU, but from there need generating first ... F
You've asked questions that I'm not sure of the answer too.
In relation to 1), I've delved around through the settings and I cannot find anything that seems to be connected to font sizes in the menu windows. My menus look little more solid than yours and I put that down to using Windows 7. Also, in "Control Panel | Display" (in Windows), I have my fonts set to "Custom = 130%" (see below image). I suspect that screen resolution also plays a part; I'm running 1680x1050.
Regarding 2), I'm not quite sure how the demos work these days. Mostly mine seem to either connect via the internet or I load/generate the demo SGU/MGU files. That said, I know that there are some demos are installed.
It will be interesting to see what others say regarding these questions.
I'm not a big fan of the way Windows manages Font Sizes using this 'percentage' method of scaling. Windows make the option available, but internally somehow 'cheats' by increasing the size of many other items - including graphics in many cases.
Microsoft should explain that the larger Font sizes can affect more than just the fonts.
Regardless, for BiaB it appears to work OK.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
