What a lovely song. I can definitely tell that it was made on a pensive night, or a "night of reflection" as you say. It has a certain feeling to it that reminds me of looking back on older days. You really utilized the realtracks in a beautiful way. Congrats!

Great work Sergio - you nailed this! It has a calming, beautiful quality to it. You can definitely hear the self reflection, and emotion in the playing. Not to mention, the choice of RealTracks here is perfect. Thanks so much for sharing

Your composition, "The Past", seems to combine seamlessly the simple, direct emotional impact of a country ballad such as Skeeter Davis' "End of the World", with the dreamy, "pop" blues appeal of a host of songs written during the late 50's to the 60's, from The Platters' "I Only Have Eyes For You" to The Beatles' "If I Fell (In Love With You").
The title mirrors the nostalgia of the song. The instrumentation of your BIAB style selection, _POPPNOS.STY, fully permits you to express whatever it was that was in your heart when you composed it. Your guitar performance sounds like a voice crooning your feelings as you played it.
