Hello, forum friends. As everyone seems to be glad to have a song on Joanne's “The Paradox Of You”, I also decided to join in a hurry. To adapt to the melody, I added some words to the lyrics and replaced the order of the clauses. Please forgive me, Joanne. As it was urgent, I could not arrange a vocalist and I had a vocaloid, Avanna sing this. In the future, if a vocalist who can sing English songs is found, I would like to make an orchestration on and re-record it with her. Any comments encouraged. Always welcome. Best regards. Shigeki, A delightfully melodic version which is an interesting counterpoint to the reflective lyrics; like being in a jazz club and considering the Paradox over a drink! The vocaloid has a nice ethereal quality; it will be interesting to compare with a vocalist.

Shigeki This is fantastic!!! Well done. Absolutely no problem changing the lyrics etc. I encourage it. Love love love your version. Maybe I can have a go at recording it? I have a cold at the moment but hope to be on the mend soon.

This is surprisingly cheerful version, lush and mellow Latin arrangement, excellent selection of realtracks. Beautiful melody and enjoyable chording. This is going to be huge when you get a real singer to sing it Janne

Delightfully sophisticated version typical of your work Shigeki. A pleasure to listen to. Would like to hear the version with a live vocalist.
Cheers.

As RichMac said "Delightfully sophisticated version typical of your work Shigeki."
The Vocaloid technology is amazing and your use of it is stunningly good. The jazz arrangement works well and sounds like a pro production all the way.
Nice!!!!

Wow - what a tune! You absolutely nailed this. The mix is flawless, and it sounds so professionally put together. It has a very interesting groove too. It is unconventional, but still somehow just as catchy. You seriously outdid yourself here Phenomenal job - you should be very proud of this. Thank you for sharing!
Cheers, Deryk

Hello, Charlie, Robert, Joanne, Janne, David, Peter, Richard, Torrey, Janice & Bud, floyd, Deryk, Scott, Thank you very much for taking the time to listen and comment. I much appreciate your really nice comments. I am really glad you all like this tune and Avanna's vocal. I tried using for the first time Avanna, a vocaloid which was developed in English-speaking countries. I don't know honestly whether or not she pronounce it properly. I did not use Miku because her English pronunciation was too bad and I could not understand what she was saying at all even if I listened to her singing carefully. Joanne, Thank you very much for accepting my changing the lyrics etc. Are you surely you will have a go at recording it? I am very happy to hear that. Please try it by all means. I uploaded the music sheet of this song, karaoke and BIAB SGU file on the link below. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/np19ylhpldj6zvg/AAB-VuzZVRNm7kucyvP8Ck6Oa?dl=0The current key is Fmajor, but I think that I can deliver another key file immediately if it does not fit. Thank you again to all. Best regards. Shigeki Adachi

This is a super jazz version of Joanne's lyrics.
I really liked this one. Super choice of backing tracks and Avanna was very good, however I would like to hear this again with a real singer.
Two thumbs up.
I want my last spoken words to be "I hid a million dollars under the........................"

Shigeki Adachi,
You've done a really great job with this. The melody, harmony and arrangement are fantastic and the mix is equally excellent.
I found it very easy to sit back and listen to your work. I liked your addition of lyrics... very nicely done!

Hello, Noel
Thank you very much for taking the time to listen and comment. I much appreciate your really nice words and continuous supports.
Whenever I write a song, I am always having much difficulty to decide whether I should change my melody to fit the lyrics, or I should give priority to the melody. This time I prioritized the melody sequence and added a few words. Your words "I liked your addition of lyrics... very nicely done!" encouraged me very much.
Best regards.
Shigeki Adachi

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!
If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
