The cross grade is to version Studio One Pro 3.5 and it is the same version as the standard Studio One 3.5. The only difference is that you are buying it at a reduced price. Here are the differences between Studio One versions:

https://www.presonus.com/products/Studio-One/compare-versions

Note that the pro version is only in 64 bit while the other two are in 32 bit.

I crossed over to Studio One 3.5 Pro and I like it. But the terminology and features are different than Sonar's so there is a learning curve. Some of Sonar's effect work in Studio One 3.5.

The only question I have is the cross over still available?

Just found this info.
What’s a Crossgrade, you ask? It’s a way for users who have already invested in another DAW to switch to Studio One for less money!
And even better: until March 31 2018, we’re lowering the existing crossgrade price by 33%! This brings the price down from $299 to $199 USD; regional discounts will vary by a small amount.

Austalian site is selling Studio one for $199 au

If you have any questions about Studio One Pro 3.5 just ask. Probably the best way might be PMs. That is unless others want to follow this thread. If so let us know.

Band-in-a-Box® 2018 for Mac - Importing MIDI Files

Did you know that Standard MIDI files can be read in to the Melodist or Soloist track within Band-in-a-Box? You can use all of the MIDI File, or select channels or a specific range of bars, using these steps:
1. Melody | Import Melody from MIDI File to select a MIDI file from disk using the file dialog.
2. Melody | Import Melody from Clipboard - when the MIDI data is already copied from another program to the
clipboard.

A new window will open, asking for additional criteria - which channels, # of bars to offset..., # of bars to import, include lyrics, include patch changes - and more! Head to our online manual Chapter 10: Working with MIDI to learn more!
