I am really happy you like this melody and the chord progression.
I used minor cliché variation in the middle part.
(Fm - C7 on E, almost equally Edim - Fm7 on Eb - Bb7 on D instead of Fm - Fmmaj7 - Fm7 - Fm6)

I used a slightly different chord progression at the bridge, which is Ab - Ab(#5) on D - Dbmaj7 - Bb9 instead of I - I(#5) - IV - IVm.

Yes, the strings is too busy.
It may be because my teacher often said that I could not get money from the clients after checking my almost white score when I was learning the arrangement.

This is gorgeous. Love the arrangement and love Yoko's voice. what was your vocal chain fx on her lead vocal track or tracks? So silky. Your stuff sounds so pro - perfectly clear without a hint of harshness on Soundcloud. I'd like to know more about your process if you're are inclined to share. Maybe I could learn something.
