We tend to initially be attracted to guitar tones we like and then move on to the actual playing.
You always have a feel for THE tone to support the feel of the composition and your playing.
Thanks for letting hear this version.
Very nice!

Sounds great man.
Sounds like a Mark Knopfler instrumental.
Great work.

Wow! Just listening to this puts you in that wonderland. Very well executed. Rob Thanks Rob. Glad you liked the song. Scott, I grew up during the peak of the instrumental wave during the fifties and sixties. I am pretty sure I heard echoes of the Ventures or the Shadows, in the distance. Wonderful on both versions. Thank you Gary. Definitely the Shadows and the Ventures shaped my loved of music and the guitar. The Surfaris Wipe out was one of my favorite songs we did when we were in high school. Glad you liked the song. Really well done, Scott The title of this track certainly lends merit to the tune. It has a magical, sparkly quality to it. It is very floaty and dreamy - the kind of tune that is easy to close your eyes and get lost to. Thanks Deryk Appreciate the comments. Sounds good, Scott. A good full-bodied tone.
Is the picture the new guitar? Looks good...
fj Thanks Floyd Really glad you like the song..

Hi Scott Enjoyed both versions very much. That guitar sounds wonderful. Thank you Joanne Well done Scott C! I really enjoyed the overall tone of this. Fantastic choice of instrumentation and Great work on the guitars. Thanks for sharing! Thanks Joe Scott
Pretty & tasteful as ever. Very nice.
Peter Thanks Peter WOW, your chops and that sweet sounding PRS are a great combination! I am green with envy!
The vocal version is also extremely well done. You all should be very proud of these. Robert C, you wrote some fantastic lyrics that Greg sang perfectly.
I can't decide which version I like better!
Thanks Mario Glad you liked the song. This guitar is turning out to be a very versatile guitar. Humbuckers, Split coil, Piezo. has some very interesting sounds.. Wow! Both versions are terrific! I slightly favor the vocal version as I'm such a huge fan of Greg's voice. But the guitar work and the lyric are stellar. Tip of the hat and kudos to everyone.
Alan I also like the vocal better. With Roberts lyrics and Gregs vocal made it a very special song for me.

Scott,
This is beautiful. The tone of your guitar, and the lyrical way that you played it, sit so comfortably on the ears that I found myself closing my eyes and simply drifting through the images that you inspired.
I enjoyed this all the way.
All the best, Noel

Well done overall, the reverb on the solo guitar is very tastefully done. Thanks rayc for checking out the song I appreciate it. Very nice Scott, certainly brings to mind the golden age of guitar driven instrumentals, Hank Marvin comes to mind.
PRS sounds sweet! Thanks Dave I appreciate your comments.. The PRS was definitely a surprise. Never played one before. Very versatile instrument.. I was playing that PRS along with you Scott, great song, top notch guitar work. Thanks for checking out the song. You know I also play along to quite a few of the songs that are posted on the forum. Allot of fun..

J&B Thanks so much Janice and Bud for checking out the song. It is funny the tones I get from my equipment changes so much. I rarely change the settings on my amps, pedals or guitars. Each one has it only personality. It is very strange as I can be playing in the afternoon and everything sounds so good then come back after supper and the sound just looses it's feel. Don't know if it is humidity, temperature in the room or what but sometimes "its" there and sometimes sound is just flat as a pancake. Sounds great man.
Sounds like a Mark Knopfler instrumental.
Great work.
Thanks David for checking out the song and the awesome comments. Scott,

Hello, Scott
Very beautiful! Just like the Shadows' tune. As David (dcuny) says, it works well as an instrumental. Greg's vocal version is also nice. Enjoyed my listen a lot.
Best regards.
