I play, well used to, one and I hear them a lot in Americana music. Nice mix of live playing, RT's / RD's and vocal performance. Has an excellent live band feel to it. OP Mr.BobaLew Enthusiast Joined: Jul 2016 Posts: 90 Texas	J&B- Thanks for the good words. I opted for the fiver so I could have that low D after first tracking with the J-Bass. I think the extended range worked well for this tune. I'm still using Logic 9 because going to 10 requires upgrading the OS and THAT basically upsets every app in the studio. That free OS upgrade would cost me about $600 because of all the other upgrades I would have to buy. Mr. BobaLew Curmudgeon Emeritus

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
