Hi all. This song is written with BB's new styles_SINNER.STY (Sinner 6-8 Folk) Really enjoyed working on this one. The story line is about the people that help and encourage us through life. As for me some of that encouragement has come from this very forum for which I'm most grateful. (BB threw in some chord variations so I went with it.) As always all comments welcome. Rob Encouraging WordsKeep walking beside me and fill me with encouraging words. The pain overwhelms me you'll never know how much that it hurts. The years go on by I'm hopeful the hurting will ease. But still burns inside me I know there's no end it wont cease. Chorus I know there's a day when you'll have go I'll hold back my fear hope not let it show. Bridge Chorus I know there's a day when you'll have go I'll hold back my fear hope not let it show The clock keeps on ticking the hours slowly drift bye. All alone in self pity its something I can not deny. I'll raise up my eyes and empty dark thoughts in my head. Then recall with great fondness encouraging words that you said. Rob,
Really like this—it drips with soul, atmosphere and emotion. Love that piano solo—just killer. And a good write as well. Could see this working its way into a soundtrack. Very cool tune!
All the best,
Deej

Rob, Good song. As usual, your signature vocals stand out! I liked unusual "detuned" ending. Comment. I would prefer drums more clear sounding and lighter, it seems as they have quite a bit of effect. They feel a bit detached to me. Rob, please do not take this as some serious critique, I am saying this from average listener viewpoint Thank you for sharing! Misha.

Really nicely done Some great progressions here, and the whole tune has a soothing vibe to it. Definitely a proper throwback to classic country. Someone else mentioned Ed Bruce and that's a fair comparison. I thought you did a great job - thanks for sharing!
Cheers, Deryk

Very, very melancholy and very, very well done.
Great vocals and, as mentioned, the piano solo fits the mood well.

The production is very sharp, too.

I was trying to bring out the high hat in the chorus and I agree there is too much affect on the drums. Thank you for listening. Rob.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!
If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
