Hi all. Cant remember the last time I wrote a rock song.
The lyrics are really nonsensical just wrote what I thought would fit best.
As always all comments welcome. Rob

Misery

I'm calling out emergency.
Bound to be the death of me.
Don't do it don't listen to me scream.
One of these I'm gonna throw my misery away.(Misery)

Its just a common courtesy.
If you wanna know just wait and see.
Don't you look don't look in my eyes.
One of these I'm gonna throw my misery away.(Misery)

Go bathe in the sunshine I'm sure your gonna have a great day.
Go bathe in the sunshine is any body going your way ( Way ayhay )

Bridge

Go bathe in the sunshine I'm sure your gonna have a great day.
Go bathe in the sunshine is any body going your way ( Way ayhay )

Ive fallen down to purgatory.
You've had the best of me.
Don't you look don't look in my eyes.
One of these I'm gonna throw my misery away.(Misery)

I'm calling out emergency.
You'll be the death of me.
Don't do it don't listen to me scream.
One of these I'm gonna throw my misery away.(Misery)

Quite Doors-y, down to the vocal fx. A great BIAB style, well "rhythmized". Nice production bits lift the whole thing. Much enjoyed.

BIAB 2021 Audiophile. Windows 10 64bit. Songwriter, lyricist, composer(?) loving all styles. Some pre-BIAB music from Farfetched Tangmo Band's first CD. https://alonetone.com/tangmo/playlists/close-to-the-ground

Well constructed Rob.
It rocked along nicely.
I'd have liked to hear the unaffected voice sing WAY as well as the effected/panned one.
Matters not as it's a cool groove of a song.

Cheers

Hi Rob,

Liked your new song! Nice melody and tempo.
Very nice use of the delay and panning in the chorus.
Must have been fun making it!

Rob,

This is really well done. It sounds JUST like Radio-friendly Rock sounded in the mid 70's.

Good mix.

Cool.

Wow - what a tune! Love the groove, and love your vocals on it. Some really neat panning effects, and it's perfectly catchy also. Loved the chorus, and the throwback 70's vibes on this. Some kickin' guitars too - all around, a solid tune.

Great work and thanks for sharing smile

Good solid rock tune...
Definitely like what think I remember hearing back in the 70s...
Grassy knolls, blankets, live concerts, & uh... other things wink...
Thanks for awakening memories!

Rob,
This is Way ayhay good! Definitely a new facet of your talent I have not heard before. Very solid rocker tune with some unusual twists. Your vocals and production are exemplary.

P.S. There is a very good video of FJ in top of Showcase which gives insight to his process of making a song. I wish one day you would consider doing something similar.

Thank you for sharing!

Misha.

Good rocker, Rob!

Nice mix, vocals sound great with the band.

The echoed lyrics were especially nice.

Vocal control, you say. Never heard of it. Is that some kind of ProTools thing?

For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.

Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.

Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
