Enjoyed it a lot, liked the switch from pessimism to optimism and what it did for the song. The doubled vocal made it a bit harder for me to understand the lyrics. Great job overall.

Peter & Leon,
A very cool song. Good overall production and sound. And vocal.
I listened before reading any of the comments - or your GH note - ans had the same reaction others did... a very Beatlesque sound and feel. In fact, my first thought was "This sounds like a song Ringo might sing on a Beatles record!"
Well done all around. Very enjoyable...
fj Thanks floyd - it was a happy accident built around a slide lick. Peter

Peter & Leon:
Good stuff—agree it has a Beatles vibe to it. Some really nice touches to this throughout moving to the different segments of the song. Great collaboration—cool tune!
All my best,
Deej Thanks a lot. Peter

Interesting mix of cheerful poppy melody with very dark lyric in verses and positive message in chorus. Overall, leaves a happy smile on the listener's face. The band is enjoyable, the flute (or calliope?) sounds great and the lead guitar has nice Harrison vibe.

Yep, a touch of the Beatles. I really liked you vocal in this one. Very nice backing tracks also. Super mix also.
Thanks Mario Peter Peter & Leon, Feeling fine after listening to the nonchalant nothing-bothers-me Ringoness of your song! An excellent vocal and inspired arrangement. Well done.
Robert Thanks Robert Peter

Peter / Leon,
This sounds like a long-lost song off a late period Beatles album.
Great guitar work, track and very cool Ringo-like vocal.
Much enjoyed!

Put a smile on my face. A novel kind of love song ... all hippy and left-field, musically and lyrically respectively ;-) Genuinely loved it!!! Thanks a lot! Peter Hi Peter and Leon,
Yes, I can hear the George influence in that lick. Always loved his slide playing, very underrated guitarist IMHO.
Nice vocal and lyrics from Leon.
Good song guys, enjoyed the listen! Thanks Dave appreciate the comments. Peter

Well by the US calendar you were a day late posting this A happy ditty for a gloomy rainy day! Janice said, "being a sentimental fool I love the lyrics!" Beatlesque, Peteresque & Leonesque...whatever it's super cool. We agree with Dave regarding George being under rated and his slide playing is unique which you well captured. And the sitar addition iced the cake. Hey, y'all sang it well too! J&B About the technology -- some how "every time the cell phone vibrates" just doesn't sing well Janice & Bud Thanks for that I'm sure Leon will appreciate his vocal being referred to as Leonesque. Thanks for the review. Peter

Peter, it sounds like George Harrison showed up and inserted some of his signature sound with that slide stuff going on! I like the way this drifts from a country sound to a beatlesque pop sound! Loved it! Thanks, Torrey Thanks Torrey. It was a nice happy accident. Peter Despite the pessimism in the lyrics. this was a jolly, gentle musical romp.
Love the slide. Yes--very Harrison. I love the ending sitar chord. Thanks a lot appreciated. Peter

Hello Peter and Leon,
Almost everybody mentioned your Beatle-ish style, and I'm no exception on that. There are many instruments involved and that gave a lot of joy to the song, although the lyrics tell something else. You made a very cool song with this one, My compliments!
Hans

“I must’ve been born under a bad sign It was always raining in my heart Even though my eyes were wide open Seemed like I was stumbling in the dark”
So, we were listening to Albert King sing Born Under A Bad Sign, got reminded of y’all’s tune and had to return for another listen and check out that line.
Fun again!

Peter and Leon ...
Loved it! You two gentlemen put out some terrific music that's so much fun to listen to. I agree with Floyd about the Ringo analogy with Harrison on guitar. That was a real sweet listen! Great stuff! Wishing you both the very best ...

A fun tune!! I like the light-hearted feel of the music which makes a great match for the darker lyric. Immediately thought of George when I heard the guitar! Nicely done guys!! Take care. Greg

For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.
Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.
Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!
Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.
Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
