Love the groove happening on this one, Tom.
Nice changeup at 2:36!
Good vocal and great guitar work throughout, especially liked the solo and that little lick you played at the end.
Totally pro all the way, loved it!
Best to you and yours for Christmas.

Hi Tom,
A lovely swinging song! Some challenge to use that Boogie style, but you did it very cool. Good vocals, funny lyrics and I agree on all Dave said about the solo.
Nice days! Hans

Whoa! This kicks some serious rear end! GREAT vocals and lead guitar work. Had to go back and relisten to the steel once I saw that was you. Wow, that's nice, too, and subtle, which I like. Neat the way the lyrics lead into the instrumental breakout ("sure gets hot in here..."). Now, about that bankroll...Ha! Great job, thanks for sharing!

Honkytonk, Jukejoint, Roadhouse, Swing Shuffle Boogie Rockin Country Blues? Far too long a name for a genre. I'll never remember that name. I just call it blues rock ... and I like it. Well done

"Honkytonk, Jukejoint, Roadhouse, Swing Shuffle Boogie Rockin Country Blues." I love it when you talk like that, Tom. LOVE THIS!! A fun romp. The kind of song that I'd see on our songlist and couldn't wait until the leader counted it off. Love the syncopation at around 2:30. Great band, terrific singer, and it gets everyone out of their seats to slap the floor with their feet.

Tommy,
Dang now that’s a lot of fine. Excellent production—crisp and clean. Good write with some nice details and specifics. Terrific BGVs. Love the solo and instruments part. Another outstanding tune from you. You make this songwriting thing look easy.

There are songs that announce from the first note that you're going to be in for a fun ride. This is one of those songs. Hot band, burning guitar, excellent vocals, solid write, clear mix... it's all there. Fun fun fun!

Wow, Tom, the red dress ain’t the only thing HOT! You are cooking on this one.
You said, “This one’s a Honkytonk, Jukejoint, Roadhouse, Swing Shuffle Boogie Rockin Country Blues” Yeah man ALL our wheelhouse genres.
We can just see the roadside joint and smell the beer from here. 😊 I It is clear that you’re having fun in your vocals and your guitar and pedal steel sound like they’re jumping with joy.
Your always great mix is hittin' the note and that piano gives a shuffle edge. The entire package sparkles with goodness.
Loved it!

Tom,
Perfect Production and Mix. (your mixes outshine everything else around). A good HonkyTonk write. Nicely sung. Very much enjoyed your guitar work. Nice steel (always jealous that you can do that).
Good Listening. (I did want it to be just a bit faster)

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!
If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
