Hello my friends from Biab, . It's been a while since I last posted on this forum. I come back with a composition and a video dedicated to an animal tying up the deer. As Janice and Bud advised me, it's better for me to go for quality over quantity. For the music used, Biab helped me a lot both in the melody and in the inspiring musical phrases of this beautiful software. For the video I used magix X15. If you have the desire or the time, I thank you in advance for your wise advice. THANKS.
Best Regard Derochette alias JaniJackFlash.

Derochette, welcome back! Wow, this is a grand piece! Beautifully arranged and mixed. Would be interested in knowing how much of this was BiaB and how much was produced by other means. The overall quality of this piece certainly far surpasses what I know how to get from Biab. Thanks for sharing!

Wonderful! I immediately get an Irish feeling when I hear this. Good arrangement, good mix.
There is one instrument on the right channel (e.g. at 1:11) that sounds like distortion, I thought my speakers had a problem I suspect this is intentional, but I would just remove it or make it less noticeable. IMO it doesn't add to the song.
A beautiful piece of music. I am always impressed with your compositions. And you put just as much into your productions. And an excellent mix. Well done.
Beautiful sounds. I love the instrumentation in this.

Hello, alias JaniJackFlash. Yeah, QUALITY is all over this. I thoroughly enjoy the changes and the way you've built this into a wonderful musical piece. The time is radio-ready, but I stay in my seat waiting or the next movement. Played it twice and was even more amazed the second time. Gee, dare I try for a 3rd? I imagine my self as the conductor and, man, my hands fly and point and lift and settle --sometimes all at once. What a wonderful soundscape befitting many story genres. Well done, Derochette.
Just like you I use Biab for creating the basic musical piece and presonus for mixing and adding instruments. To compose, I always start from Biab classic for my sequence of chords based on a style and I look for interesting realtracks or supertracks for the melodies. I then switch to Studio one where I use Biab Vst. I take my basic composition and I enrich my composition with different VST instruments or other RTs. I don't hesitate to replace certain realtrack melodies with orchestral vsts using the generated midi files. If I keep biab's Realtrack, I use melodyn to readjust certain dissonant notes. Finally, I add other tracks to give volume to the whole. I hope that answers your question.
Thanks for you nice comment. Kindly regard Derochette alias JaniJackFlash or Jani .
I thank you for your appreciation. I paid attention to your comments but found nothing unusual. Maybe on the backing vocals, I should put an EQ on the high frequencies. Thank you again for your advice.
Your comment makes me extremely happy because in the absence of words in the soundscapes which are sometimes longer in the duration of the piece, the images are an asset to break the monotony of listening. I thank you very much.
Awesome instrumental. I love that flute (tin whistle?). The instrument spread and placement and arrangement in is fantastic. I enjoyed this composition!
I'm happy to read you. I come to this Forum in my free time. I'm uploading fewer soundtracks because I'm now trying to combine them with videos and that takes more time. Thank you for your nice comment.
It is always a pleasure to read you. You have a lot of humor and I love that. I'm happy if you found yourself as symphony orchestra conductor because my goal has been achieved. I thank you very much because your comment encourages me to continue in this atypical mode of composition. And congratulations on your well-deserved award.
Advice is something that I could not give! This far exceeds anything I could do in this genre! The composition and production here is excellent and flawless to my ears! The video imagery is lovely! Very nice work!
This sounds very professional. I really enjoy the dramatic feel and how the instruments create a beautiful contrast, like between the softness of the flute and the strength of the choir. It all fits with the nice video and the vividness of a deer.
Magestic is absolutely the word to describe the audio and the video of your production!
We live in an area populated by whitetail deer and we have almost daily encounters with them in our woods trails and our yard, on occasion surprising a fawn asleep or from our kitchen window seeing a Mama deer nursing her fawn.
Your video represents their beauty so well and your song is a wonder all by itself.
Janice said she may play your song for the next deer she encounters laying in our yard. 😉
Hi Derochette wow this is excellent love to hear more of this !! well done Fmm

This is the nicest comment I've read for this composition on this forum. Thank you for coming into my world where I would like everyone to be happy. Whether you believe me or not, it is biab which is my main working tool where I find my inspiration by playing with the mid lines of realtracks which I replace with orchestral sounds. Thank you again for your encouragement.
I thank you for commenting on my soundtrack. My style is a bit special on this forum. Like it or not but my next composition will be more alternative rock without video to try to show that I can also get closer to this style that I really like..
Apologies for the delay in my response Thank you for commenting on this forum and on youtube. Your comment really makes me happy. I thank you very much.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
