In Realband, if I select one or more tracks that I want to export to WAV files (perhaps I want to load it into a different sequencer, or just save the separate tracks for later use), the program should be able to write multiple files using a single command. If I highlight 32 tracks, it should export 32-tracks. File names could be the current name of the track with a one-up extension (so as not to overwrite existing saved files.

Additionally, if you select MIDI tracks (and you've got a DXi or VSTi softsynth assigned), I don't see why these couldn't be rendered in the same command.

ditto. A batch render command would be great. That said, this is a great program!

This feature was added in Build 2 of RealBand. See the Audio Menu, or press the Render button on the top toolbar. For a song called MyTune, you will get a folder called MyTune, and that will have separate WAV files in it, one for each track, with descriptive names, based on track#, track name. There is an option to save MIDI tracks as MIDI or WAV as well.

Added: New menu items to save individual tracks to files on the Audio and Render menus.

Have Fun!

Ask and it shall be delivered. Who could ask for better service than that? I will definitely give it a go.

Thanks, Peter.

Does anyone have an idea of what the limitation on the number of tracks is for this function - I tried this with about 10 tracks (audio and MIDI mixed) and it worked perfectly. When I increased the number to about 20 (playing around by expanding the MIDI drum track, adding VST's etc), RealBand just kept on shutting down?.
Could this possibly be an issue with certain VST's?
Any advice please.
Thanks, Roy

Peter;

Thanks for the heads up on the individual wav files. Now if we could just export them to a single multitrack wav file so it can be imported and played with either the built in multitrack player or a different program just like the RealBand sample folder "demosng1.wav"

Thanks

Toucher

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option

Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!

Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!

For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.

Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.

Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!

Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
