Of these midi synths, Which is best for use with BIAB?
And is Coyote Wave included with BIAB different from Coyote Forte Dxi?
Finally, I have found a cool signature with sufficiently dry humor.

It will help if you tell us if you are using a 32-bit or 64-bit Windows.
And yes, the free Coyote Wavetable is nowhere near as good as Coyote Forte, which is not on your list.

I've heard a lot of them and it depends on what you want to do, and what is you Operating System 32 OR 64?
Lots of good hardware solutions...and some decent software ones...

currently XP (32bit). May upgrade to 7 within a year, or longer - 64 bit if I do.
Rendering final works hasn't been my use of BIAB, but am thinking of actually trying Realband which I haven't up till now.
Just would like a good all around sound. most music styles
Oh, definitely not looking for hardware. Just wondering which of those mentioned works best, or the trade offs. Hadn't installed Coyote then read something, but Forte is different. Not sure if I should bother installing. Ease of use could be a factor.

In my opinion, no question. The TTS-1. There is so much that you can do with the TTS-1, including individual instrument effects, overall effects, and more.
Personally, I think it's just the best software synth out of the ones you've mentioned. With a Real Track backing, the piano sounds pretty real, too!
Worth what you pay for it.

I'm blessed watching God do what He does best. I've had a few rough years, and I'm still not back to where I want to be, but I'm on the way and things are looking far better now than what they were!

I would strongly recommend the TTS-1 as your starting point for GM. It has substantial mixing/parameter control and the setups can be saved. No comparison with vsc in my oppinion.

Another vote for TTS, add RTs to it and it is pretty good. In RB i use TTS, and Sampletank, and add RTs to those and i get some very nice sounds.

Hi
they all sound reasonable if you have a decent audio and midi interface but if you play gigs you can`t beat the sd2 if its just for your own amusment any will do

If you use a lot of older BAIB midi styles, these often sound more "right" with VSC as, I suspect, they were written with that in mind. The balance is often better, and, where the style has strings or pads, I nearly always find that VSC sounds better than any of the others. That's not to say that the sounds are better, they just fit better in the mix. Also, you need to bear in mind that the whole VSC and TTS-1 programmes (with 200-odd instruments) are smaller than the middle C samples on their own in a decent sampled piano like Ivory or the While Grand, so you can't expect miracles.
Another thing to bear in mind is that you can swap these very small GM players (VSC / Forte / TTS1) in a few seconds using the Audio/Midi options dialog box, so you don't have to stick with one.

Of those you mentioned the TTS-1 is the best IMHO.
I just posted a selfie and all of the responses were get well soon!
64 bit Win 10 Pro, the latest BiaB/RB, Roland Octa-Capture audio interface, a ton of software/hardware

I tried the the demo version of Forte and thought it was ok but to my ears the TTS was better and as mentioned have alot more control over the presets. Brian

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option
Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!
Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!
For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.
Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.
Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!
Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.
Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
