I'd like to see some handclaps in the realdrums section or even as a percussive instrument. Maybe 3 or 4 different ones (few hands, more hands - every beat, twice every bar, every bar once). Daniel

You can roll your own handclaps if you have the ability to record. Here's a link to show you how to do it.

Heck everyone can clap their hands! Setup a mike, hit record and clap away. Make two or three tracks of it, then clone them and before you know it. Dang guys let's not forget to be creative ourselves!! Make your own and then make acidized loops out of them, and save them cut them up and use them over and over.
One time when i was about 9 I complained to my mom that a piece of meat was to hard to cut up, she repied, " you want to to chew it for you too?" Heck if you can't clap your hands you might want to try another hobby!
Just sayin'

That was kind of my point. Create your own and install the track in the RD system. Then they are always available without having to re-record.

Heck - you're right! I didn't even think of that The other day I was 'constructing' a track and thought by myself it would be nice to have handclaps (well, the kind of electronic ones that used to be popular some years ago). I even thought it would be quite difficult to create RealTracks that have the exact feel one is looking for (I also searched in Samplitude if there's some looped Handclaps)! It didn't even occur to me to record the handclaps exactly as I want them to be. Stupid me After all, I have a 'Band in a Box' and I've gotten so used to go and look for all the good things in there... Cheers folks, I shall go and record some handclaps to the tune, overdub a couple of times, add reverb and EQ as needed and I'm sure we'll have another masterpiece

An additional percussive track - that can be muted or not aside from the drums - for many styles would be a great addition the vary the compositions!!!

If you are not satiesfied with "Do it yourself" you have to look quite a bit to find a descent handclap for gospel and pop - the best ones I have found so far is in Fab Four and for solo handclap in one of the EZ Drums series (if I recall correctly it was in Claustrophobic when you hit out on the sleave)...

Or google "handclap wav" (no quotes). There are many free ones up there.
Me, it's not about how many times you fail, it's about how many times you get back up. Cop, that's not how field sobriety tests work.

I'm surprised this thread surfaced again. Thank you all for your advice.
Daniel
BTW I have the 'Fab Four' sitting on a harddrive (only used some organ so far). I'll check the handclaps. Didn't complete the other tune as yet. There's so many tunes I've started and only some are nearing completion.

Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!
Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!
For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.
Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.
Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!
Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.
Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!
If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
