Nice toe tapper honky tonkish traditional country and I enjoy your accent too. I think you're off to a good start. Your vocal was clear and what you have in there was balanced well over my headphones.

To make it more studio sounding - use more RTs and less midi unless you've got a great sound bank. Then spend time working out your arrangement. Listen to one of your favorite records that's the same style as your song and note what instruments they use and when the instruments come in and out around the vocal. For example some steel guitar would sound good in this song.

I hope that helps you a little bit in reaching your goal. Arranging and mixing is very subjective.
