I've been using Power Tracks, on and off, since version 6, when it sold for $29. I always had PG Music send me an installation disk through the mail.

I thought it was nice that the disk also had a DOS version of the program, and I liked to play with it.

Every installation disk I ever bought from PG Music became unreadable within a few years.

The disks with the instructional videos have fared better.

When I decided to give Power Tracks another try, I again had an installation disk mailed to me.

I can't tell from its appearance whether it was produced by the stamping method or the "burning" method.

Anyone here have the inside scoop? Because if this disk will soon become rotten I'd like to know before it's too late.
