In my haste, I neglected to direct Forum members to what is universally considered the definitive version of Lush Life. It's the one by the American singer, the late Johnny Hartman, who did it with John Coltrane and McCoy Tyner in their iconic recording of 1964. I'm listening to it now ... uh boy, I can't even begin to touch this guy, to say nothing of his band mates. Here's Coltrane now. Damn, I've had enough. So, part of this may have been subconscious. Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
