When I record audio track (sax), it sometimes happens, that some part of punch recording is louder than other. I don't always want to record that part so many times, that it sounds ok compared to earlier stuff in that track. Then I export audio track from BIAB to my DAW software where I do all that kind of editing and then import it back to BIAB. Is there an easier way to do that?

The most likely reason your punches are a different volume is because you changed the input levels to your sound card or interface. It's also possible that you are simply playing at a higher or lower volume. Lots of things can cause it. Generally though, it's an easy fix in a DAW. Simply use volume envelopes to even out the levels or use volume level gain in audio processing to step up or down in volume on the clip. I use both methods quite often.

Why would you want to import it back into BiaB? My personal work path never goes back into BiaB.... it moves to Real Band and ultimately into the DAW.

Same automation need is for example in Horns Background track (RealTracks) which I'd like to start at part B of my song or for example slowly come in under solo. How to accomplish that in BIAB? I understand, that it's impossible to handle everything with BIAB, but still, if there are some ideas how do those things easier...Maybe next BIAB comes for that kind of support!

Again... take the tracks to a DAW. Use volume envelopes to bring the horns in and out where you want. Use your programs in their strong areas and don't try to make them do things that are easier to accomplish in another program that's specifically designed to do that chore.

Here's a look at the envelopes I used in my latest song on the forum. You can use them to bring things in and out surgically (see the piano track) as I am doing or fade in and out slower (B3 track) as you wish.

You can find this song by following the links in my signature. It's at the top.

My work process is as follows. I start in BB. Move to RB for rendering of the audio tracks. Move everything to Sonar for recording my tracks and vox and mixing and processing before I export the finished song. It never flows backward. The only backing up I do is if I decide I need another track and then it's back to RB to get the tracks and then back to the DAW.
