I do believe this user has been grossly misinformed, at least on the "12/8" front, of which there are a number of RT's out (6/8 not so much) smirk
- And, although getting them individually is still a snag, then I firmly state that EVERY RT's that exist for WinSux are also available for the Mac, just so that is clear!
I'm saying, you may have to buy a package or two of RT sets (some of which might include RT's you may not care for at all), just to get to the good ones...but they still are available, for both platforms.

There's only one thing to do in crisis like this - Sleep on it!
