A revamped Bluegrass song written and played with a band in the 90-ies. A true story BTW, as an acquaintance was a true adrenaline addict, and alas did not survive the attempts to stay healthy by jogging and jogging ..... My first experiment in 2014 using some realtracks, like drums, rhythm guitar, bass, guitar soloing. I don't remember which ones alas, and edited the hell out of especially Brent's solo-ing, Thank You Sir!. Editing done in Cubase mainly and added salt and pepper to the lot ... The video is illustrated by my fav comedian, Good Ole Buster, no one has beaten him yet on that (real)track!

Run Run Billy © Artspurg 1995 SABAM

Aerobics his only rage
It's his way to reach old age
Someone told, you’ll grow old
From self inflicted speed
Now he found to his surprise
How he loves to exercise
Adrenaline, a drug so fine
All you’ll ever need

Refrain:
Run run, Billy, run
In your sacred suit
Run run, Billy, run
Another mile to boot

Once upon a murky day
He ran so fast he went astray
And he met, a drop of sweat
He couldn't wipe away
High on speed but down on luck
Billy struck a diary truck
A final date, he had with fate
But life is built that way

Refrain:
Run run, Billy, run
You have lost the track
Run run, Billy, run
Too late to look back

Run run, Billy, run
High above us all
Run run, Billy, run
Make sure you'll never fall
