This is a beautiful and very original composition. Very atmospheric too. The vocoder works great all around! We will check out those VSTs you mentioned in your post.

Thanks Very much Rob and Anne-Marie for your kind comments which are much appreciated. The TalkBox plugin is very basic but easy to use. You pan the vocal track hard left and the synth track hard right (I used a basic SAW patch) and feed them both to a bus with the TalkBox plugin as an insert effect. The plugin is part of a large bunch of free plugins which can be downloaded from here. I haven't tried any of the others but I did run Kaspersky and MalwareBytes on all of them just to be safe. Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
