Thanks, Joanne. You're too kind. I think the real magic of this song is the fact that you took that small sliver of an idea from Sigrid Rausing's interview and turned it into a very lovely and believable story. We were kinda like kids playing "telephone" where the story gets embellished each time it's retold. Fun stuff. I doubt the actual back story could be as wonderful as what you deftly imagined into such a great song idea. Not only that but you created the perfect melody to complete the music base I created with BIAB. There were a million ways that song could have been sung and you seem to have instinctively chosen the perfect one. Add to that your lovely voice and it's a knockout. For those who'd like to play along and/or study the progression and structure of the song, here's the original BIAB file which I've uploaded to Dropbox. Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
