I like your workflow (it's my normal).

However, also thought I'd mention that every time you save a .seq file, RB creates a backup of the previous version.
I don't rename every time I make a change, but if I make something significant enough to warrant a new version I am aware enough to do so when it is called for.

I take some solace in the fact that I know if I save over the current version, I have a few previous versions of that file backed up. I use that feature to save time and avoid having 50 versions of the same song in a working folder .. I know I have backups.

Use the File drop down to Open Special or close. You can open these backup files and resume work at any time.
