A MIDI version is a lot more flexible. Find a MIDI style that is close to want you want, either use the piano roll or notation in BiaB or drag and drop the file into a DAW. Using MIDI and the piano roll/notation in BiaB/DAW you can place the notes in any place you like. You can also add or delete notes.

If you are using the stock GM program that comes with BiaB you may be disappointed in the sound. Either run the track into Amplitude or better yet purchase a better MIDI sound source.
