Hello, forum friends

Since I listened to Tano Music's Bossa Nova, I became to want to share my Bossa Nova with you.
But it is not so sophisticated bossa nova in comparison with Tano Music.
Starting composing, everyone will want to write Bossa Nova once.
This song was written when I was very young.
I did not know Jobim yet and I believed that Astrud is Bossa Nova.
I wrote it inspired by “Manhã De Carnaval” sung by Astrud.
After that I forgot about this song.
But about 10 years ago I met a wonderful female jazz pianist at our local jazz club where I often go.
So, I asked her for a recording session and she accepted it pleasantly.
This song is one of the 7 songs we recorded at that time.
Sorry, the recording was intact at that time, only 2 mix file was left, so there are some problems with the mix balance.
Any comments encouraged.
Always welcome.

Best regards.

Shigeki Adachi

Summary of lyrics:

I see a blue moon in the window
You sleeping profile is disappearing
With faint shadow
In the night sky

Even in our deep kisses
Nothing was left but scent
Even sure things
Will melt in this darkness

You just get to sleep
While healing the pain wound
Something is left in my mind
But it will fall deeply like droplets

Only on my fingers
I surely feel you
I want to be wrapped
Left alone forever in the night

Overflowing sadness will
Just carry away my heart
We will be left never united in a body
Like the vanishing foam on the sea

Even though we are together
Our hearts are like a half moon
Without becoming a full moon
We don’t know what to do with our hearts

Waiting for the moon to fade away
The reality now begins again
While grinding down the sorrow
That awakens pale
