I have a song where the melody and soloists are realtracks and I want to turn that off and go back to just using midi so i can enter a melody but for the life of me I can't get it to work.
You sound a little Unhappy Ron LoL .... In the Style Picker you can select Midi Only, or if you only want Midi on one track, see second pic. PS I found sometimes you'll have to erase or kill the melody RT first, 'track actions', but i don't know if that's a bug ...

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
