Hey Floyd,

Really appreciate your help on this one and glad to be here on forums. I do remember Gino’s btw, but I can’t say I went there a lot. In Cherry Hill, my restaurant of choice for some late night fries with cheese and gravy was Ponzios Diner. They are still around. I graduated Cherry Hill East High School in 81, so I cant say I was a frequent club goer st that time, though WMMR, 93.3 was indeed the bomb. I had the cassette deck ready to go every time a Springsteen show was being broadcast live! Michael Tearson had my attention much of the time. Philly and South Jersey also had some good radio at 94.1 WYSP and 102.5 (WIOQ) with Ed Sciaky. I am not familiar with STARS, but used to see concerts all the time at The Tower Theatre in Upper Darby and The Main Point in Bryan Mawr. Every once in awhile, we could catch a show at The Latin Casino in Cherry Hill, as well. It is gone now. Back then there were some great local acts that were either on the verge of breaking big or actually did. I was lucky enough to catch The Hooters early on, as well as The A’s, Robert Hazard & The Heroes, John Eddie (then John Eddie and The Front Street Runners),etc. Good times for sure! Thanks for the trip down memory lane!
