How do I "remain myself" while writing a song (stick to my own music style)? I've noticed that I'm constantly trying to copy everything I've heard/read previously.

I was greatly inspired by Mars Theme Lyrics (Nick Cave & Warren Ellis) after I watched the series and then the "Arrival" movie boosted my enthusiasm to write a dystopian text, nut again it looks like a copy of Mars Theme.
