It's a great networking tool but the people behind it don't believe in privacy and it shows.

You need to assume that anything you post anywhere on Facebook can be seen by anybody-- including your Uncle Ed the minister, potential employers, companies who are compiling profiles on you and your friends for marketing purposes and perhaps governmental agencies (that part doesn't really bother me as I've nothing to hide.) It wouldn't surprise me if the private emails were being scanned as well but I have no evidence of that.

Any of those online games and apps that you download access all your info and the info of your Facebook friends. They've also added a function that allows you add your own music to your page but when I went to sign up I felt like they were asking for more access and information then I was comfortable with.
