You can use the arrow keys on your keyboard to move left/right in the Notation Window. There is also a horizontal scroll bar at the bottom of the window.
If you wish to see more or less bars per screen, click the Opt button in the left hand side of the Notation Window. In the dialogue that appears there is a dropdown menu for Bars/Screen where you can select the new number of bars.
