I have had this problem before because I had another version of the same song in another directory. This time I only have one version of a song. I have added a vocal / multi track oohs aahs etc from the real tracks picker. I mute it at bar 1. It shows the red underscore at the bar. I confirm that mute is selected. Press play. It does not mute. Any ideas ? N,B. I can mute instruments such as sax, drums etc.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
