RealDrums Set 2 features both even 8ths and Swing Waltzes, as well as straight-ahead Jazz, Reggae, and a selection of Country styles. The PopWaltz and JazzBrushesWaltz styles feature cool brushes playing in the "A" section, and then switches to sticks in the "B" section to give your song a boost of energy. The Jazz style features classic hi hat patterns through the "A" section, and then switches to the ride cymbal for the "B" section. There are three Country styles to choose from, including CountryEven16, CountryEven8 and CountrySwing. The even 8 and even 16 styles are great to use for modern radio Country, and CountrySwing can be used for a great old Texas Swing tune. Also included is a Reggae groove that sits right in the pocket. All RealDrums styles were recorded with top session players, so you know you're getting the best!
RealDrums Set 1 is included in the Pro version of Band-in-a-Box and the basic PowerTracks Pro Audio package. RealDrums Sets 1-3 are included with the PowerTracks Pro Audio PowerPAK. RealDrums Sets 1-6 are included with the Band-in-a-Box MegaPAK. RealDrums Sets 1-20 are included with the Band-in-a-Box UltraPAK, and with the PowerTracks Pro Audio PowerPAK Plus or MultiPAK. ALL of the RealDrums Sets 1-26 are included in the UltraPlusPAK pacakges.

RealDrums
What are RealDrums?
These are audio drum styles that replace the MIDI Drum track with actual recordings of top studio Jazz/Rock/Country drummers! These are not "samples" of single drum hits; they are full recordings, lasting from 1 to 8 bars, playing along in perfect sync with the other Band-in-a-Box, RealBand, and PowerTracks Pro Audio tracks.
For example, choose a brushes style and you will now hear lush Jazz brushes, exactly as you'd hear if the drummer was in the room with you. The results are dramatically better than MIDI. They sound like a real drummer, because they are recordings of a real drummer. And adding a real instrument to the mix makes all of the Band-in-a-Box parts sound more authentic. In PowerTracks, add a RealDrums track to an old recording, and it will play in perfect sync with the original file.
As well as improved drum sounds, you are hearing the exact rhythms played by the drummer, including features not seen in MIDI (subtle drum rolls, variations in ride cymbal taps, complex fills, etc.). A "RealDrums" dialog allows you to set whether you want to hear RealDrums with all styles, no styles, or somewhere in between.

This RealDrums group can be used on a wide range of tempos (40-350 bpm), and the drummer will always be playing appropriate patterns for the chosen tempo!

PopWaltz
The PopWaltz RealDrums features brushes playing for the 'A' Section, and switches to sticks for the 'B' Section. These RealDrums work equally well with pop, rock and country styles!
CountryEven8
The CountryEven8 RealDrums feature brushes playing at the 'A' section, followed by sticks at 'B'. At slower tempos (45-120) the drummer plays a country-rock groove, while at faster tempos, it becomes more of a 'train-beat' groove.
CountryEven8Reduced
CountryEven8Reduced_105 uses the same audio source as CountryEven8_210, but the pulse is treated as 16th notes rather than 8th notes, so it can be used with a wider variety of Band-in-a-Box styles.
CountryEven16
The CountryEven16 RealDrums feature brushes playing at the 'A' section, followed by sticks at 'B'.
CountrySwing
The CountrySwing RealDrums feature a classic hi-hat pattern at the 'A' section with a side-stick, followed with more aggressive playing on the snare at 'B'.
Reggae
The Reggae RealDrums group features swing 16th-note playing at slower tempos (60-100) and swing 8th-note playing at faster tempos (120-200). The change from 'A' section playing to 'B' section playing is subtle with these styles, but the playing does become more energetic.
