Shastastan Expert Joined: Oct 2008 Posts: 1,259 CA	My Toshiba laptop's sound is pretty weak,Imho. I did go to thw Coyote Forte software synth, but improving sound from the laptop speakers was not my goal in using it. I have a little cm-30 Roland monitor cube that provides some pretty decent sound. I use it to practice with with a cable from the headset jack on the laptop to the cube. For our small live performances, I use an Archos Jukebox as an mp3 player into the Cube. This works well in small venues but would be too small for an auditorium. The Archos has a 20GB hard drive which makes file operations quite easy. The Roland Cube works well for me YMMV. Stan Cornet Curmudgeon

It's always great to hear how other Band-in-a-Box® users create their songs, especially when they explain in detail what they're doing.
