If I remember correctly, by default, Amplitube wants to install both the 32-bit and the 64-bit DLL in the same folder with the same name. So when you get to the part that asks where to install, be sure to specify two different folders for 32-bit versus 64-bit. I think what may have happened was that the 64-bit dll overwrote the 32-bit dll, and that's why it won't run. You may have to do an uninstall before doing the install (can't remember), but it shouldn't take long.
