Thank you so much, folks, for those kind words of encouragement.
Many of us have an idea of what we hope to express, in my opinion. How we go about doing that provides the basis for much of what we see here on this forum.
At the same time, we honor the other paths, such as the path to technical mastery, virtuosity, even being the fastest banjo picker in the state.
Band in a Box is flexible enough to accommodate a variety of musical approaches. I attempt to do the straight rendition, without excess, note bending, or harmonies normally associated with modern gospel.
Those are some thoughts I wanted to share.
