Hi All,

From time to time, as many of you know, I like to fly the flag for PowerTracks Pro Audio which I feel is often
over-shadowed by BiaB and Realband. It would be a great DAW at any price, but at $49 it's simply amazing.
So this is done from start to finish in PowerTracks and uses only PG effects and a couple of free VSTs.
The main guitar is my old Telecaster, the solo is Jazzmaster and the bass is Fender Jazz.
The drums are sampled from an old '60s Ajax kit and played back through the Drum Source Sample Player.
Finally, many thanks to my friend Malcolm for letting me play his cherished Hammond C3 on this track.

In this song, I've deliberately left the plot open-ended so you can decide for yourselves exactly where she's gone!
Perhaps she met with an untimely end, or ran off with a truck driver, or maybe she's just visiting her mother for
a few days. If you have any ideas let me know.
Play it LOUD if you can.

NO SLEEP (since you've been gone)
Four-o-clock in the morning
I hear the church clock strike
I walk across to the window
Another sleepless night
The whisky doesn't cure it
It only makes things worse
It doesn't cure the heartache
It only cures the thirst
The night just seems so long
No sleep since you've been gone

Four-o-clock in the morning
The darkness gets me down
It presses down like velvet
But never makes a sound
I turn my eyes towards the east
I'm looking for a sign
Three more hours till daybreak
When the sun begins to shine
The night just seems so long
No sleep since you've been gone

As always, I'm just grateful to anyone who has time to give it a listen.

Thanks, ROG
