It's nice to see a relaxed and philosophical view of the industry, but that guy gets 10/10 for the research. My view is nudging towards inspirational. Chuck Berry has said in interviews he took the popular piano boogie-woogie styles and developed them for guitar. I call that healthy evolution. The bigger issue is taking all the royalties for something that is not considered 100% original by an average group of musicians.
