Here's my last submission, called:
BETWEEN THE LINES

I used:

_THISTLE.STY. Thistle Train Fingerpicking
RD: CountryTrain: a: Brushes Soft b: Brushes Hard :Shawn Soucy
RT592: Bass, Acoustic Bluegrass Doc Ev 100 , Dow Tomlin
RT2541: Pedal Steel, Background ModernPopCountry Ev 110 , Eddy Dunlap
RT2514: Guitar, Acoustic, Fingerpicking BoomChickJoe Ev16 110 , Joe Robinson
RT2513: Guitar, Acoustic, Fingerpicking BoomChickHighJoe Ev16 110 , Joe Robinson

I added my own acoustic guitar, vocals and strings arrangement. The realtracks come into play gradually in the song. Hope you enjoy it :-)
Here's the lyrics:

BETWEEN THE LINES

Maybe I'm trying to be someone I'm not
maybe I think I'm flying but I'm falling
maybe I'm running fast but I should stop
or maybe I should at least slow down and wait for you

Maybe I'm trying to say things I don't know
maybe I think I'm winning but I'm just wasting
maybe I should pick up the phone and call
and tell you right away that I love you

And maybe, maybe I should
if I could see what a difference it makes
and maybe, maybe I would
if I could force myself
and take my days as they come
like every wave as it breaks on the shore
and ask nothing more
just like you do

Maybe I'm trying to be someone I'm not
maybe I think I'm living but I'm just waiting
Maybe I should just take my car and go
and drive to the end of the world to find you

And maybe I should
if I could see the things I miss between the lines
and maybe, maybe I would
if I could push myself
and live one day at a time
like all the seagulls on this lake as they glide and soar
and ask nothing more
just like you do

And maybe, maybe I should
if I could finally understand what I’m trying to say
and maybe, maybe I would
if I could be myself
every step of the way
like all these old friends knocking at my door
and ask nothing more
just like they do
just like you do
just like I should do

Maybe I'm trying to be someone I'm not
maybe I think I'm flying
but I'm just falling

Jon

Really well delivered. A beautiful melody, and the choice of tracks has worked so well.

This is quite sensational. Good luck with this, it deserves recognition.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
