Hi all.
Here’s my latest song,it’s a quirky hip hop one with the basic Hiphop RT with me playing the excellent Arturia B3 organ and the IKM SampleTank 3 for the saxes.

Hi Riccledy
I liked it... it's like how you sing to yourself
and then some solo... that refreshes the song.
Soft, not intrusive... calming... I enjoyed it

Sincerely LazyPianoMan

Hi Rick,

Somehow I missed this. Glad the LazyPianoMan brought it up.

I was gonna say, "Something a little different from you". But, you compose in so many different genres, I've come to expect almost anything from you - mostly nice surprises!

Interesting - in a good way. Lots of rhythm yet soft. your voice is perfect for this. pretty danged cool!

Alan

I think the general consensus is the same! Your voice really does suit this particular style of song. That organ sound is also pretty fantastic. The softness of the song makes it so that it's not super jarring, and I think you made some good choices here.

What a relaxing song.

Thanks for sharing.

Starting Young with Band-in-a-Box®

Look at what we came across! The site https://www.thelineofbestfit.com/ posted this interview with Norway's Lido, which includes the following:

Question: How did you get into producing?

Lido: "Growing up in the mountains on the west coast of Norway there wasn’t very much to do. My dad downloaded this music making software for me on his computer, I think it was called “band in a box”. I just started making beats on there, I was about nine at the time. I didn’t realise I was producing, it felt more like a video game. It wasn’t until I got Cubase when I was 11 that I really started producing."

How great is that!?!
