December 13, 2011 2011 User Showcase Awards

Over the past year, we’ve had over 400 compositions posted to our User Showcase. Wow... Thanks to everyone who contributed!

There are 15 winners of the 2011 User Showcase Awards! These people have been chosen based on a combination of the following: the most contributions on the User Showcase, the quality of their arrangements/productions, the use of Band-in-a-Box, RealBand, RealTracks or MIDITracks, as well as their contributions to our other Forums (songwriting tips etc.).

December 07, 2011 Update available for Band-in-a-Box 2011.5 for Windows: Build 348

Summary of Changes for Build 348 (Dec 5, 2011)
• Fixed: Sax RealTracks #1642 and 1643 were not playing at 'b'

Summary of Changes for Build 346 (Dec 2, 2011)
• Fixed: 'Simple RealTracks' weren't showing up correctly in the RealTracks Picker.
• Added: Tip in the Loops dialog, to use 44K WAV files, or wma/mp3 (not mp4). Also, a tip about File-Open Audio as a means to convert a file.
• Updated: Help file and manual.

December 02, 2011 NEW Version 2012 of Band-in-a-Box and RealBand for Windows!

Band-in-a-Box and RealBand 2012 for Windows are here!


Band-in-a-Box 2012 offers over 50 exciting new features including VST synth support for each track for multiple synths playing on your songs. You can also use VST Audio Plug-ins (reverb, delay etc.) on each track. There's a new Guitar Amp Simulator (AmpliTube CS) so you can customize over 150 of the Guitar based RealTracks. We even include “Direct Input” (clean signal) Guitar RealTracks for these so all of the added effects come from the Guitar Amp Simulator.

You asked for more RealTracks and we've listened! There's now 18 NEW RealTracks Sets with 101 additional RealTracks, new RealPAKs Vol 7 for Jazz, Rock-Pop and Country.
