Right now, we have a Fade-out feature in BIAB.
In the same manner, it would be nice to get a Fade-In feature.
It would be very useful, for example for Newage songs, ballads, instrumentals for movies, Praise&Worship songs, Gospels,...
I would also add a pro touch in some arrangements.
Note also that all modern hardware arrangers offer the complete set of Fade-in and Fade-out features.

DAWs typically offer fade-in and fade-out functions on a track by track basis. Also, many daws offer multiple fade choices using linear or logarithmic change in volume. Some daws also allow the user to apply a fade across one track, multiple tracks or all tracks.
How would you want fade-in to work inside BiaB?

The fade-out feature should work the same manner the present fade-in works : the user should define a number of bars upon which the fade-out would be applied.
Note also users don't always use a DAW : for example when we use BIAB in live for gig sessions, we cannot import to a DAW, so we need the fade-in feature inside BIAB.

I personally don't need thus but +1 for those users who use BiaB on gigs.

yes, it's not an unreasonable request esp. if it allows the product to be better used in a live situation.

I run BIAB under Windows OS, so I can't answer to you.
Maybe Mac users can answer.
Have you searched in the BIAB manual for this entry ?
