OK, every year this big dummy has to learn the hard way that his memory is declining. New version ships... People post good information about how to solve various problems or use various features... and I falsely believe I will remember; but when my USB drive arrives, I DON'T remember, and I usually can't find the thread that contained the information I need. So now, each year when the threads are active, I create a BIAB.TXT file on the desktop. Any bit of info that looks like I may need it later gets copied and pasted into this file. Later, when my copy is installed, I don't have to search for solutions in a sea of forum posts. Most of what I need is easily found in the BIAB.txt file. This works great except when I forget where I put the file. You really can't fix stupid, you can only compensate for it.

Yes, good idea. My variation is a folder called Computer Tips that contains a huge number of Wordpad files with generic tips from PC World or similar source. I also have a Download folder with sub-folders for PG Music, SONAR, Microsoft etc. where I place text files for specific software.

My computer fixes are in a spreadsheet and needed 'fixit' software (for when I get emergency calls) is in a special folder .. for RB I just go from memory.
For BiaB I need so many notes I'd still be typing them. I need to spend more time learning the basics before I realize what I don't know. I'm still a newbie with it, but the new version makes it much more inviting to me. My problem is I start adding audio so early in a project that I often need the extra tracks in RB.
Make your sound your own! .. I do not work here, but the benefits are still awesome
