It's great to see so much positive out there. What a community this would be if all those hitherto unknown (to us) users became active here. Jazzman, how about suggesting that they do so, or that they at least check out the PG forums?

It still kinda surprises me that there are musicians above the age of 16 who haven't at least heard about BIAB.
I found out about BIAB through a magazine review and downloaded the demo. I bought it after 3 or 4 days of using the demo.
Is there still a demo? I don't think so, but I may be mistaken.

It's down to marketing budgets or lack thereof. From what little I know in music products marketing, there's a large need for a 'middleman'/distributor to get your product the up-front attention it needs to take off. You will lose margin but you can make it up in volume.

OK who told?
Seriously though, it is nice to read that others are using BiaB. Every once in a while this topic will come up over at Cakewalk’s forums and I was surprised to see how many over there use BiaB.
This is a very good thing!

I think the demo got too big to be practical any longer. I think the marketing strategy is to get prospective customers to visit PGMusic.com and, after auditioning the RTs, they reach for their plastic.
On a fixed income, I can no longer keep up with BIAB.

Sorry folks, I tried. I should have presented a better tune and more info to the newer editions. That was just one tune I had available all produced by BIAB alone back when I first got BIAB.

It was a good example, so don't fret . Actually, we all know who we can blame for the secret getting out - but I won't name any names.

There's no doubt there's a huge user base out there that we never hear about here on this forum. Here in LA virtually all of my musician friends at least know of Biab. Even on my favorite Kurzweil forum on Sonikmatter there's several people who have mentioned Biab in passing while discussing how to edit something on the keyboard. Same thing on the Korg arranger forums or for that matter any arranger forums like for the Tyros or G70. There, the subject is certainly related because there's lots of discussions about styles and Biab gets mentioned a lot.
I think the RT/RD's have really pushed PG Music forward.
